What is included in “coaching”?
Movement coaching
A coach will analyze your mechanics and help you dial in your movements to be mechanically efficient, giving you the best opportunity to safely increase the weight on the bar over time. Squat, bench, deadlift, overhead press, row, clean and jerk and more!
Programming
Get a program tailored to your goals that will help you know not just how to lift, but how much to train and how often. Inducing a training stimulus, or stress is key to success. A good program will have subjective measures to measure your effort level and overall stress. A coach can design a program for you that has the appropriate intensity, volume, and frequency to put you on track to accomplish your goals.
Facility
Don’t feel comfortable in the gym atmosphere? Currently the facility is included with any coaching, no membership required! A private gym with no one there to judge you, just you and your coach. At Barbell Therapy we also have a good amount of specialty equipment that you won’t find in a typical commercial gym. Specialty barbells, monolift attachments, jammer/ISO, arms, chains and more!

We pride ourselves in the knowledge of our coaches. We feel that it is important for a coach to be more than a personal trainer. A Barbell Therapy coach knows more than just training, they also have a knowledge base in the psychology of behavior change, coaching psychology, pain science.
